🌍 Where I Give: The Sight of Hope Family

Alicia King-Mkhombe has been part of our family story since 2011, when she lovingly cared for my children. In 2013, she graduated from Evangel University and soon followed the call of God to Swaziland (now Eswatini) to serve the most vulnerable — orphaned and special needs children.

What began with a leap of faith turned into a thriving mission: Sight of Hope Africa, a sanctuary for young girls facing unimaginable challenges and now home to a preschool, a feeding program, garden development, and a growing spiritual family rooted in love and resilience.

Alicia’s journey has been one of extraordinary faith, sacrifice, and unwavering love for the children and families of Swaziland.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside her since the very beginning — from her time as our nanny to her calling across the world. Over the years, we’ve stayed connected, and I continue to support her in small ways as she builds this life-giving mission.

Her heart, her obedience, and her courage inspire me deeply.

Today, Alicia is not only a devoted wife and mother of two but also a maternal figure to many. Her unwavering commitment has created a nurturing environment where girls, once marginalized, are now pursuing university degrees and envisioning brighter futures.​
